Focus on French Cinema 2010, the 6th annual festival of French cinema is a great way to experience the best of French and Francophone film. This year, we will feature 5 US Premieres, a selection of short films from Belgium as well as a Saturday late-night thriller Peur(s) du noir, an animated selection of
six nightmarish visions of fear.

On Thursday, April 8 student passes will apply to the pre-festival film “J’ai tue ma mere” the award winning film directed and written by the highly acclaimed young director Xavier Dolan.

Also, Join Purchase Students at the Stood following the film for “Paris is Burning! A Sizzling Night at the Moulin Rouge” a Cabaret /Burlesque themed night complete with refreshments and entertainment!

We are happy to announce that Focus on French Cinema is offering a selection of discounted prices for students. Pricing begins at $5.00 per student. But why not take advantage of the $20 weekend pass? This includes all films, the Breakfast with the Actors and Directors and the on campus film workshops. If you buy your tickets now, we are offering a “limited offer” that will allow students with ID to purchase one pass and receive the second pass at half price. Thus – two weekend passes to all films and workshops for $30.
